Blank passport pages

Attention travelers: The US Consulate in Hong Kong will begin charging US$85 to add blank passport pages, effective July 13, 2010.

You may make an appointment through the consulate online appointment system: http://hongkong.usconsulate.gov/acs_appointment.html but appointment slots are limited. The Consulate has advised us that you may mail in your passport in, but it must be received before the 13th.

July 13 happy hour

We're not having a happy hour tonight, because we never have a happy hour on the first Tuesday of the month, silly. But we are having one next Tuesday (second Tuesday of the month, like always -- see previous sentence) from 6:30-9:30 PM at the Dublin Jack, 1/F, 17 Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong. $150 gets you canapes and all the standard drinks you like, OR you can pay as you go.

Got any ideas for us? A nice young woman showed up to her first happy hour last month, and at her behest, we were holding a phonebanking event within two weeks! It really is all about making yourself heard.

Happy Hour June 8th

The monthly DAHK happy hour returns June 8 -- second Tuesday of every month at the Dublin Jack, 1/F, 17 Lan Kwai Fong, Central, Hong Kong. Come down to meet people, share your views, and/or find out how you can get more involved with the party. From 6:30-9:30 PM, we will be socializing, drinking, and generally being smarter than the other team. $150 gets you all the standard drinks you want (excepting Bulmers, Guinness, and Kilkenny), and canapes. You can also choose to pay as you go.
